About twice a month i get in these moods where I feel sad,pathetic,and worthless. I get really down and start putting myself down and thinking bad thoughts about myself ex: im pathetic, im nothing, ill never be anything, im stupid and ugly, nobody likes me.... I even imagine other people are thinking the same thing and talking about me and when i see others around me laughing i feel as if their laughing at me. Thankfully these phases go away within a day or two, still, i dont like feeling this and i dont know why this happens i think it might be q mix between depression and schitzophrenia or im just crazy i dont know either way please help

Why has my guy friend been kind of ignoring me?

Hi, I had a guy friend in school, he was one of my best friends actually, and we have been really strong friends for two years. We used to hang out together with our other friends and joke and play fight kind of thing. I don't know what it is but he has been kind of ignoring me for a while. It's not like a phase like 2 weeks or so, it has been around 6 months. I don't know if it is because we moved schools or what but I am really confused. You see, when we first moved school we were still really close. We had an opportunity to pick lab partners and he picked me all the time. At this time i sort of developed a crush over him but he didn't know. And I swear that I didn't tell anybody about this. After about 3 months of our new school our friendship sort of downgraded. He found new friends and starting to hang out with this other girl, which many people say, looks and acts exactly like me. Come to think of it we are almost like twins, exept she puts on quite a lot of make up, I don't mean like a little she looks like a cake face(sorry for being rude.) I noticed after a while she was flirting with him. Every girl notices when a girl flirts because she was hugging him, ruffling his hair and all sorts. He looked really uncomfortable though. When she hugged him, he backs away after a second. Soon he hardly even talked to me. I was lucky enough to get a sentence every two weeks. They started calling eachother best friends and all that. The strange thing is though, when the girl went away for a month he started to joke around and talk to me every day. I felt great but it was really strange. I have also been ill a lot, in and out of school all the time and back and forth to the hospital. He dosen't even turn around to look at me when I laugh anymore. The other week though we were watching a video in school and he was saying all these jokes and that and my friend noticed that he looked at me about 4 times to see if I was laughing, I am really confused thx for listening x :

Pirates online folder HELP!?

Wow this is really frustrating! I downloaded and installed pirates online as i play it every day. But when i want to install the pirates online phase files, i cant see to find the pirates online folder! I looked everywhere even under Programs & Files and under Disney online! I've looked everywhere!!!! The only pirate related folder id the pirates folder were the screen shots are. i don't know if that has something to do with it. Is this a side effect of Capstar(but a good one?)?

I gave my cats Capstar by grinding it up and putting it in tuna. They both are acting fine, except one threw up the tuna about 2 hours after(not sure if it went in her system all the way). But my other cat usually is very wild, being rude, getting into things. Now, every time you pet her, she will purr like crazy, lay up against you, she is sleeping more, and acting more normal. She still plays, I don't think she is depressed, she just is more cuddly and nice. Is this some side effect? lol My cat isn't usually this nice, she goes through mean phases often but since I gave the pill to her last night she has been nice. She even let me comb her for like a minute without scratching me(she likes to bite combs and scratch arms if you try). lol

Just as <3 has mentioned, what our society finds beautiful goes in cycles according to whats desirable in the world. For example, back when "thick" was considered beautiful, those who were thick had plenty of food to eat. This was desirable in society because the class system was very air-tight, and there wasnt a lot of food (or money to buy food) going around. So, those that had money were able to buy food, in other words, the top 1% of society. Today, those with money spend it on weightloss programs, surgery, and personal trainers. Thus, they are thin and "beautiful". It all really depends on society and the period it was in. That was kinda hard to put into words, hahah, i hope it made some sense x)

Do I need to have braces AGAIN?

I'm 13 years old and a couple years ago, I had to get braces. My top teeth have always been perfectly straight, just my bottom teeth are really crowded but my dentist said he rarely only does braces on just the bottom or top because your teeth work as a set. He said that he wouldn't pull any teeth, he said that if I had braces for a year, I'd never have to wear retainers and my teeth would be perfect. So I had braces for a year and my bottom teeth were straight and my tops looked exactly the same as before braces. Then, I got two stupid looking retainers that I could barely talk in that I had to wear 24/7. Then I went on vacation and I forgot them at home. When I got back, my bottom teeth shifted back to their original place. The retainers don't fit right in my mouth. Now, my dentist wants me to get 4 teeth pulled, 2 from the top and bottom, and have a second phase of braces. I had an expander for my top teeth (I don't know why) and my mom had to turn it with a key every day before I got braces, is there a such thing for bottom teeth that would widen my jaw and then my retainer would fit better in my mouth? Or can I just have 2 teeth pulled from the bottom and just get bottom braces? I asked my orthodontast but he looked at me like I was crazy. What do you think? Please let me know. =)

Well at your other school you were the only asian girlie, and you knew you were cute. So that made you a rarity, so you didn't feel competition since there wasn't really other girls like you. Im thirteen years old and am in 8th grade.My parents fight all the time and have had to call the police on several occasions. Ever since we moved back to America my mom has been drinking and my dad has been neglecting my sister (16) and I. I really don't like talking about their situation when they ask me so I just shut up and bottle up my emotions (not wanting to start anything). We moved to North Carolina 3 and a half years ago and it was good, I was making friends and right when I was going into 7th grade at the junior high we moved to new york. After a year at the middle school there my mom found out her stupid job was making her move back to North Carolina even after I missed up big time there (because I thought I wasn't coming back). You might think this is just some idiot complaining and I agree I am complaining but I have no one to talk to in my house,since my sisters getting ready for college, nd I get really depressed spending so much time alone. I usually go on facebook but it just makes me more depressed to see that the innocent kids I knew in 6th grade have turned into sl*ts and douchebgs. I literally only have one friend that I hangout with here and shes not a very good influence on me. I HATE , really HATE my life, but I can't really do anything about it and I diffently don't wanna commit suicide but at least then I would escape the peer pressure crashing in on me. Why are is my sleep/dreams becoming extremely intense. PLEASE HELP ME !?

So when I went to sleep on 6/27/2011 I went to sleep and dreamed that I was just sitting in my room staring at my closet. I know that it has nothing to do with being gay because im the farthest thing from it and right after that phase of the dream I was having sex with a girl that I was rather attracted to. But they were different from my normal dreams. They were more real. Like after the sex scene I was walking with a friend and I saw this girl who lived in las vegas nevada. But she was walking in my hometown in Ohio. the next morning she posted a status saying she was on a flight to Ohio for 2 weeks. But apparantly she was just kidding. Its just odd that she even joked about coming here. as if its on her mind. and its also in my dreams ? But the next night (which is tonite) I remember directly before I entered my deep sleep I remembered having a little nap. But in this nap I litterally CREATED MY DREAM. Like everything that happened. I thought it up and it just started to happen. Like I was walking through a town of all wooden houses because I like wooden houses. and I picked up a saumari helmet and I wanted to get hit in the head with a chinese throwing star. and I did right after I thought about it. So am I creating ? or am I predicting ? But anyway Once I entered my deep sleep I dreamed that someone was knocking on my garage door for some odd reason late at night. (notice both me dreams the past 2 nights have taken place mostly at home. I usually never have dreams at home. So anyway back to my dream. I went downstairs to let whoever in. I opened the garage door and I seen nobody.. so went to my front door. and It was open. I got really scared cause this dream seemed also very real. School has just let out. and James has actually been doing much partying (when I always wished hed come to football practice instead). so I let him sleep. but than if i remember correctly James was having trouble with something. I heard him from my room upstairs. It had to be something very loud for me to hear it. But when I went downstairs he was gone. Than I was for some reason riding in the car with my parents and they were talking to me about james. than we randomly stopped and looked at a group of kids coming out of a church who were extremely intoxicated. The kids that I seen have been doing alot of partying in real life due to their graduation and they were successful track athletes. So that was predictable I guess. So that diddnt bug me that much other than it was a wierd dream. But when I woke up from the dream. I was awoken to my laptop being on even though it was off when I went to sleep. and a song was playing on youtube. what could of made it play ? it wasnt on repeat or loop or anything because after I woke up the song was almost over and than it stopped playing. I've know this boy for like two and a half years and never really thought of him THAT way until the end of this past school year. He's a really funny guy and has a lot of friends. In fact he's friends with most everyone in our class. He came over and talked to my friends and I a lot this year at lunch and joked with us and stuff. one day at lunch he was joking around with a bunch of people and was talking about ways to ask people out and chose me as an example and dipped me and hugged me and all sorts of things. I started to fall over one day at lunch and he grabbed me and pulled me back up and made sure i was all the way up before he even started to let go. Another day he was talking about hugs and chose me for all the examples again and then just didn't let go and would turn me with him when he turned to talk to people. He did all this for a phase and would smile and wave at me in the hall and then he just kind of stopped. He didn't really talk to my friends and i as often and didn't acknowledge me in the hall way and then right the VERY end of the year he started with all of it again. Its really heart wrenching. Singing teacher difficulties...........?

i have gone to a few voice teachers now and i am very frustrated with all of them. i know my voice, i know what kind of music i like and i know how i want to sing. i do not want to become an opera singer, nor a broadway star or a country star! i love alternative rock. i sing hard and loud with as much intensity as i can infuse, but i need to work on my head voice. i don't want to sound like a goat with to much vibrato and i don't want it to be quiet but every teacher i see tells me that my taste in music is bad, i need to go in a different direction. im to young and dumb to know what i want to sing, so they chose for me. i tried to show one voice teacher a million times a recording of how i want to be able to sing, a clip that in everyway shows what i want to do. but no, lets work on some italian crap! "oh you will like it when your older, your just in a phase let me teach you something useful!" i'm sick and tired of teachers not listening to me. i know what i want! if someone out there can tell me how to explain to a teacher that i don't care how "perfect" my voice is for something else and that i want to learn what i want please you would be a godsend!

You're still 12 anyway. The truth is though, pretty much anyone can learn how to utilize their voice to sing at the fullest potential. All you need is practice and a good vocal coach. OMG. Where to even start with this movie. I've always been obsessed with all the Screams. (not preferably 3) This one had its ups and downs in my opinion. To start off, half the scenes that were in the previews and trailers were not even in the movie. whats up with that? Also, I loved Kirby. I wanted her to stick around. Let me also say i was disappointed that Gale is not a journalist/writer/news person any more. It's like what has she been doing lately sitting home and knitting? One of my fav. parts of Scream was watching Dewey and Gales tension with each other and in scream 4 he just kept pushing her away.. :( They had such strong connections in the previous screams when they would help Sydney and work with each other as a team. I really missed there sexual tension the most! There married, it should have been so cute between them, and more tragic when Gale got stabbed. Also, Dewey had like no faith in her the entire time, when has that ever happened? ugh! One thing i do love and can give kudos to is the main actors, Dewey,Gale, and Syd. They are so passionate about scream they make it seem real. There acting is phenomenal together even with the 10 year separation. Im glad that Syd finally grew up and seemed to move on more, instead of the poor poor me act. I mean i knew she lost her mom and all this stuff that happened to her is hard but i loved seeing her as a strong mature women confident in herself. Its been 10 years, i think they could have added more, made it bigger, went into it with a bang. I think i liked screams 1,2,3 because they were classic. They were the best. No one could compare to scream. It was original. Scream 4 was a mix between trying to keep there originality with a twist of present-ness but i dont think it worked as well as it was thought to be. I guess i just expected more. ON THE UP-SIDE. I did enjoy the movie, seeing them all together again, i so hope there is a 5 (with more connections, sexual tension) The hole Jill thing made no sense to me. Isn't it my baby shower?

I am having a baby shower at the end of July. I have a huge family full of men, women and children who all want to be there. Therefore I am having a Jack and Jill shower and they can bring their kids. I chose to have my shower in my aunt's huge backyard, because she has a nice setup, a pool and things to keep people entertained. My husbands sister had to put her two cents in and tell me that NO ONE has co-ed baby showers that it was strictly for women. She also said a backyard baby shower was ghetto and stupid and no one would want to come from her side of the family. She also offered for her and some of her family members to help me pay for a banquet hall to have a shower in so that people will show up and so that it will be classy. I can afford a banquet hall, the point is that I don't want one. I want guys at my shower and if they feel uncomfortable about going that is completely understandable. It seems to me like she is trying to take over and is being quite rude. Am I in the right? What do I do about this? I already confronted her and told her to mind her business and she yelled at me and my husband and called us immature and basically losers. What do I do? i was just having fun thinking about what i would name my kids and my grandmas name is Maxine (and sometimes goes by Max), so i thought if I have a boy i would name it Maximilien and call him Max. Why does this girl go through phases of ignoring me?

So me and this girl (Im a girl too) Told each other we liked each other but neither one of us are gay. Well long story short we would be together if she wasn't already dating this guy so she said. Why does my kitten bite my hand when i'm just petting him?

my kitten seems to think that when im petting him its playtime and he starts biting my hand. The bites used to be simple gnawing but as each day passes his biting is becoming harder. Well...if someone tells me something that they're child is doing and they have absolutely no idea that Ari doesn't do that yet, then obviously they're not comparing or trying to brag or make me feel bad or anything like that. Why has my 20 year old son has not shown any signs of liking girls?

My oldest son who is soon to be 20 has not shown any signs of liking girls. My son is a very very good son in fact his father and I kid around saying that he is not normal because he is such a nice person in every way we see it. He is very respectful, polite, courteous, generous and considerate and also very smart. He is now attending his second year of college and is doing very well with everything. Except i have never seen him hanging out with any girls, talking on the phone with any girls and bringing home any girls or even talking about girls at all, like most guys do. My son has a group of friends who he met in high school and still hangs out with them because they all go to college together. I have met all of them and I know that none of them appear to be gay. He talks on the phone with some of them about classes they have in school and or video games and movies, etc. My son says some of the guys have girlfriends and some don't. My other son who is 17 is hanging out with a couple of girls and i hear him talking on his cell phone with them and has even brought a few female friends to the house. I have asked my 20 year old son what kind of girls he likes in a way because I am trying to find out something that can tell me about his thoughts or feelings and he just tells me he likes any type of girl as long as they pretty he says beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which is true, but still i end up knowing nothing. When people ask me how my son is they always also ask me if he has a girlfriend which I always used to say "no" he just has a group of friends, girls and guys. They always seem to be surprised and make me feel uneasy. Now when they ask i lie and say he does just so they leave me alone. This seems really thought over and nicely done. I like the whole idea. Out of curiosity, what genre are you going to sing this song in, if you are going to sing it? The lyrics are very well written, but when you are singing it make sure that the beat is right and that the rhyming is also touched up, because sometimes it doesn't sound as good when it's not as "rhyme-y". Also, I'm just a tad confused by your motive. In the first few lines, it seemed as if you were trying to say that just because someone had more power, or wealth, it didn't make them better than people who had none at all. But, then, you are talking about how power will end up badly, if I understand correctly. Why has he been ignoring me?

Hi, I had a guy friend in school, he was one of my best friends actually, and we have been really strong friends for two years. We used to hang out together with our other friends and joke and play fight kind of thing. I don't know what it is but he has been kind of ignoring me for a while. It's not like a phase like 2 weeks or so, it has been around 6 months. I don't know if it is because we moved schools or what but I am really confused. Is my friend ignoring me because he likes me?

Hi, I had a guy friend in school, he was one of my best friends actually, and we have been really strong friends for two years. We used to hang out together with our other friends and joke and play fight kind of thing. I don't know what it is but he has been kind of ignoring me for a while. It's not like a phase like 2 weeks or so, it has been around 6 months. I don't know if it is because we moved to upper school together or what but I am really confused. You see, when we first moved school we were still really close. We had an opportunity to pick lab partners and he picked me all the time. At this time i sort of developed a crush over him but he didn't know. And I swear that I didn't tell anybody about this. After about 3 months of our new school our friendship sort of downgraded. He found new friends and starting to hang out with this other girl, which many people say, looks and acts exactly like me. Come to think of it we are almost like twins, exept she puts on quite a lot of make up, I don't mean like a little she looks like a cake face(sorry for being rude.) I noticed after a while she was flirting with him. Every girl notices when a girl flirts because she was hugging him, ruffling his hair and all sorts. He looked really uncomfortable though. When she hugged him, he backs away after a second. Soon he hardly even talked to me. I was lucky enough to get a sentence every two weeks. They started calling eachother best friends and all that. The strange thing is though, when the girl went away for a month he started to joke around and talk to me every day. I felt great but it was really strange.and then when the girl came back it all happened again. Although when we were in school he was telling some jokes and looked at me 3 times to see if I was laughing. By the way I haven't got a crush on him anymore, but I'm not sure if he like me? Is this just a phase my daughter is going through?

My daughter is 19 months old. The past week or so, she freaks out whenever I try to take off her shirt. As soon as I grab the sleeve to pull her arm through it, she instantly starts crying and trying to reach for me as if im going to take her shirt off and leave. She doesn't cry when I take off her shoes, socks, pants, or diaper. It's just taking off her shirt. She has never reacted this way before. I think it might be because she went to the dr last week and they had me remove her clothes to weigh her. But she has been to the dr plenty of times with regular check-ups and shots and each time I have had to remove her clothes to weigh her and she has never reacted this way afterwards. Has this ever happened to any of your children before?

Hello, I'm sixteen, female, and I believe I might have a slight case of OCD, but I'm not sure. The only symptom of OCD that I have is compulsive shaving. I shave everywhere, every morning and sometimes in the afternoon, too. I don't feel comfortable leaving the house unless I am shaven. Is this normal, a phase, or a sign of OCD? I've been doing this since I was thirteen and I am just now noticing that none of my friends partake in the same shaving practices as I. Help?

I was recently diagnosed with Bipolar 2 Disorder.I have a history of major depression but i wasn't diagnosed until after i had a hypomanic episode.Some people's experiences of hypomania can be quite positive.With some experiencing high functioning behaviour and increased productivity and creativity.However my hypomanic phase was a very negative experience.It was characterised by uncontrollable racing thoughts, insomnia,dysphoria(extreme agitation and irritability), full blown rages,excess energy, hypersexuality and excessive spending.I am now on Lithium and my pdoc is great.My question is should i focus on the label or the symptoms?

People Who Love To Read?

Not really answering your question. Just wanted to say that you should read all James Patterson's books. Not just the Alex Cross series. He is a fantastic author and I don't think I've ever not liked one of his books (and I read ALOT!). It seems I've always loved to read and if I start a series I will usually read all of them especially if I really like them. The only problem I have with them is when I get to the end and there either isn't any more or will have to wait for a year or so for the next one. That, I hate! I get so wrapped up in the series I just want more and more. Trilogies do the same thing to me. I read a book recently, Discovery of Witches, loved it but found out after I finished it that it is to be a trilogy. UGH! If I'd have known before, then I would have waited til the others were out before starting them. LOL

I want a serious relationship?

I'm Single and have been for a while. I stopped dating 3 months into high school because i could see that It wasn't a good idea. I was too young and my social circle was very limited. I'm considered quite smart for my age and am graduating 1 year earlier. I'm thinking that i would like a man a few years older then me. I'm almost 18 and would like someone between the ages of 21-25. the man character is a man named bruce who is all in all unimpressive. He obsesses and fantasizes about this woman he hired named Lily. He got a job at his fathers publishing company after he had no where else to go. There was a time where he had promise and self worth but not anymore. he likes Lily because she is sweet to him. However he is aware this is only because she knows no better. If she knew how weak he really was she'd disrespect him like everyone else.. his father is deeming his mother is overbearing and he is miserable. any suggestion where I should go how to make him more Masculine . Eventually in the story he is going to become some one you stop routing for because he will take advantage of Lily the only person more fragile them. Jill is another character described as large her personality is big she is polar opposite of Lily. Bruce hates her because he describes her as Masculine. Jill is mean to Bruce and can spot his insecurities. She often brings them to his face. However She herself only wants bruce to like her. I want to play on the theme of masculinity verse Femininity and coming of age and in no way do I want this to be a romance novel. I want there to be intese symbolism but I am hitting a wall in the second chapter him and Lily become closer and I have no where to go.

Depending on the age, girls are stupid. Guys are too, but girls can be worse. THe same ting happens to girls where guys treat them based on looks. As you get older, women are sometimes less judgemental base on looks. Just bid your time.

everyone judges the attractiveness of others on largely the same scale - a girl or a guy is hot no matter how ugly the person of the opposite sex is - the difference comes in whether or not the person has the confidence to then approach that person. and that doesn't always mean they're the hottest either. good looking people may feel more confident approaching another good looking person, or they could have self esteem issues that make them shy. and just on the other end, someone that's not as attractive, but has lots of confidence and an awesome personality - could feel just as good approaching an attractive person because they know that they're an interesting person to talk to. i thinkg your question is too general - there's too many factors you're not thinking about.
