Good 60's/70's bands? The Stones/Kinks Style?

A couple of years ago I went through a Beatles phase were that was all i listened to. I"m forming a band and I was looking for some influences and I re-found The White Album (I listen to it religiously now) and then I got addicted to The Kinks (I also like The Stones). I was wondering what else i should listen to. Also I like weird stuff like Zappa. I was also wondering if there is a band that is both but if not the Kink like stuff is good.
