Beauty it`s in the eye of the beholder?

I think everyone agrees with this phrase. But what is it that we are attracted to some women and not to others. For example I know angelina jolie is beautiful but I don`t find her hot. or Megan Fox, I know she is hot but I don`t feel like it`s my "type" if I can say so. On the other hand I like a skinny english girl that she is in my area. Why is that so ?
